SORRY NOT A WINNER

This is a true story lol
So the other day My Sis and I stopped in the mini mart by her house. New owners recently purchased the store, My Sister who purchases one bingo ticket day and thought shed meet the new owners, After all she will become a regular customer lol.From behind the cash register a woman from India greeted us with a friendly smile .Sis says to her while tapping her finger on the glass case that held all the bingo games
" Id like a Number 13 please"
The Owner smiles at Sis searches for the number 13 bingo ticket, She then pulls out the ticket not handing it to my Sister she immediatly scans it and says
"Not a Winner sorry you lost, that will be three dollars"
My Sister somewhat aggitated.
"What the heck, that's not how you play Lotto scratchers, I didnt even get to play it.You dont do that, You gotta give the customer their ticket to LET THEM scratch off the ticket, Thats part of the fun part to see if your a winner" The cashier replied with
 "Why bother, thats takes to long I scanned it it you lost
NEXT!!!!!"
 I was laughing so hard.The expression on my Sisters face an avid bingo player and also the Cashiers look of confusion. It was priceless.
Sis still paid the three dollars for the losing scratcher.
 Helpful cashier will scan scratchers for you

    Hi John, I heard about you from Barb. and just had to look you up. I have now read back to November of you blogs and had such fun reading them. I am about to add you to my viewing list of blogs ...so I won't miss your stories..I have a blog but havn't written it for over 6 months now. I may start again one day...I will see. I never had many readers and it can get a bit discouraging sometimes. I also found facebok and find that very good for keeping upwith friends...keep smiling John

TAKING MY HOUSE FROM ME

Well I got the news today, After 13 months of paper work in and grieving the loss of my Dad. The papers came yesterday and the calls today. You have 60 days to be out, you are an unlawful detainer.The house your living in sold Oct 20th,I had gotten the loan. I got the attorney Mayhem Ford, I filed and faxed.  did everything I needed to do. And now they tell me under FHA policy I have to move 30 years of my parents stuff and empty out the house.So they can take a picture of the house empty. They tell me with such compassion. I almost believe them.Someone's been lying to me. I am going to court Feb 19th and present my case. I've been so sick with ulcers and H pylori This is the home that my Dad and Mom built with their bare hands, My Dad lived in less then two years. He was building it while battling lung cancer, None of us knew he was sick.( Not even Mom). This is the house where every holiday was spent. Many Christmas's and Thanksgiving dinners with Friends and Family....

Where Did All The Bloggers Go??

Hello. I will keep this short,I guess at this point Im really writng this for myself.Everyone seems to have flocked over to Facebook,My Space,Twitter.We live in the right now, Got keep it short and move on Time. So I will keep it short.My home that I lost.I moved out of Feb 20th.They called me today and excepted my bid and Im signing the contract friday.Im still half heartly believing this,Those few who have followed me, no the stuggles and heartache I've endured the past 15 months.We shall see.Just wanted to write it down. I guess I will see you somewhere out in the world wide web.My Pastor always said The internet is like a web.Once it traps you. your in.So anyways back to my online blog.Which no longer has readers to comment.Its now simply a journal with ones personal thoughts like they use to have in the olden days .So I guess I will get the key out and lock the cover so no one reads the contents.
