LIFE IN JOHNS WORLD

SARAH ON THE RIGHT  Be Careful what you pray for.  More importantly be very specific..I was telling myself its been  awhile since I've gone on a date.(I think Reagan was President) So I prayed Lord I need a Godly,fun loving Woman.One who Is wise and has her own set of wheels.A woman who enjoyed the  80's(My favorite era)Sorry to sound picky. But lets face it.A few of my dates have been Out there. So I began to talk to two Women and was thinking of asking one to go out for dinner. But I got  called in to Assist.  I volunteered tonight at "The Estates"I was assisting an elderly woman to bed.She has  poliomyelitis. I've know Sarah about five years.And have been assisting her this pass year.So I  was putting her into her bed.takes about 45 mins.Her disease has affected her muscles.            One doesn't realize how much we need something until it is broken.My driver side window stopped working about two weeks a go.Its stuck at..... almost up all the way.It becomes a pain ,every time I drive, Its a reminder of why we need our Windows UP.There are several reasons, Car jacking, Cold weather, but most importantly to Order in Drive thru with our dignity...........   I didn't realize how often I go thru the drive thru until the broken pane .                   I pull up an order at the speaker which is fine. Until I have to pull up step out,Leaving my pride in the truck.Feel the need to explain that the window is TEMPERARLY broken.I hand them the money,get back in Shut the door and wait!!!!!.Food comes, GET OUT and grab my order. Glancing at my door to let the Food server know I am aware of the broken window. God forbid they only use one person to take your order...

Just wanted to post a quick entry,Yesterday I picked my six year old niece up from School.As we  were  walking from the classroom and heading to the truck, a little boy around 6  came running up to me. Excuse  me Sir! I looked down and in his hand was a wadded up Five dollar bill."You dropped this  back there"He said. I was  shocked that someone in this day and age(let alone a kid) would take  the time to return   MONEY.I reached in my pocket  and gave him $1.And thanked him for  returning it to me.The truth  IM  shocked at how honest he was.To  me it shows a lot about who is raising this Child.,In this  day and age.You never know,It could  be his Parents are Grandparents raising him, Great  Job!..........Made my day.

YA right John Tonight we had a surprise party for a friend at Church,He turned 38 and has never had a Surprise party before.There were a lot of people,food and gifts.Very Nice,and he deserved it.BUT..........                 It got me to thinking back to my 40th birthday, As you know turning 40 is a big deal,Turns out mine wasn't as big a deal as I thought. LOL. The morning of MY 40th birthday I got a call from a friend at Church,That they wanted me to meet them at 6 pm for a  Seminar" Ok,sure got it.I WILL be there.'He gave me directions to a elegant restaurant.
