SMILE THROUGH YOUR TRIAL

Well it has been awhile since I blogged. Let me back track. November 13th I had dental work done.I had to have several teeth extracted.I was awake through the procedure.I did alot of praying.Ive been needing this done for several years. My dental insurance finally approved it.It was very painful.I had to have several teeth capped or replaced and they did a great job,.Me being only 48 is young but I had to have several teeth worked on . The follow days were very difficult I was in a lot of pain. It was very challenging. I wanted to have my dental work done in time for a big family weekend for Christmas.I had a hard time with the pain at first. It took me an hour to eat a plate of food.Over time and determination I finally began to heal..And now I feel much better about my appearance and learned how to smile.Thank God for helping me through this.
Also I've been helping my co worker care for her husband he was 74 and diagnosed with brain cancer Shes 71 and was doing all his care.Transferring him assisting him anyway she could. So sad to see someone going through this.Cancer affects everyone. She would call me over to pray for her and her husband. I felt honored to help out.He passed away last month. She doesn't have any family or children.I try to meet her once a week for lunch and just listen to her.Asking all of you to send prayers Marlena's way for God to give her strength.Hope you all are having a good day
John

  2. Oh John, I had thought something awful had happened to you. What a relief.to see you look GREAT..new teeth and all.....I am so pleased that you were brave enough to have them sorted out. That is young to have to have so many teeth out but I bet you will feel so much better healthwise and certainly looking good....I am so sorry to read about Marlene's sad situation. I pray that with your help she will face the months ahead. My dear Sister died on Xmas eve in her husbnads arms.(..on his 82nd birthday) she has been very ill with COPD and heart failure for a long time and Mitch ha dto look after her 24/7. He is very sad now and finding the day's quite hard to get through. However we spread her ashes last Thursday and I think that since then he is feeling a wee bit better. It woudl be nic eif you coudl remember him in your prayers his name is Mitch..my sister was Margaret. There were three of us siters and there is only me now left..I feel quite alone now...but no doubt will struggle on as I usually do ! Take care and God Bless try to come back sooner that the long absence you have had this time !!

  4. Hi John. So happy you were able to get your teeth done. I remember when my Johnny got his dentures. He had such a hard time getting used to them, but once he did, he was really happy. I'll be praying for that dear woman you're helping.since her husband died. Having lost my own I know how difficult it is. She is blessed to have you fill up a little of that empty space in her heart. You have such a loving heart. I think that's why we all love you so very much. Take care.
Nice to see a post from you. Now I better get to doing one of my own. Haven't posted in my blog for a long time.
