4th of July

July has a been a busy month.On June 28th our Church opened its Firework Stand.Freedom Fireworks.This is out biggest fun raiser of the year.It takes a team to make up a successful booth.I really enjoyed the fellowship of the Church.gathered around the booth.Some nights we had 45 people.People brought food.The youth had a blast standing on the corner holding their signs.Yelling FIREWORKS....And we did great this year.Almost selling out everything.We had a raffle to give a way a bicycle.A young girl named Dana won the bike.Boy!was she excited,
                                                             And more good news.My best friend Mark got a job.(In California that's hard to do)He's been looking for work over a year.He signed on with a Temp Agency. They assigned him to a warehouse to fill orders for fireworks.Just so happened to be TNT the same company my Church is with.His first order was for my Church C.P.T.Thank God for the job.
                                                          On the 4th I went over and stayed the night with Mark &his family.We had a bar-b-Q, tri-tip,burger with works, great fellowship.Good clean fun.I enjoyed myself.Watching the children get excited about the fireworks,reminded me of my childhood,I to remember getting so excited,And back then they had the log cabin.Smoke would come out of the chimney..All in all its been a great week.

This morning Bobbie.My Sister Trisha and I met up with Bobbies Boss and his wife.Mrs,G. was the Grand Marshal this year) in Oakdale Ca.(Cowboy Capital of the World) Today was the " Portugues Festa" They started with the Father of Saint Marys Catholic Church Blessing the Animals. They also did dancing. Kind of like square dancing.There were a lot of Animals and it was a fun enviroment. I hadnt gone since I was Around four.So naturally I didnt know what to expect. Trisha(my Sister) said it brought back memories for her as a young girl she wore the princess dresses and participated in the activities.After the Parade, we all met at the hall.Around 400 people attended. They served food and drinks. At no charge, ribs,portague beans,salad.sweet bread,All the sodas you wanted.Everone was very nice. I couldnt help feeling a bit nostalic.My family came from the Azores.I havent seen them in years.Im going to try and find My Aunt(my real Dads Sister) And go see her. I have a lot of ques

COVID19 living life in social distancing

                                          people wearing face masks is the new norm                                  God bless all the medical responders Hello everyone, I hope your all doing we;;.These are crazy times were living in. It feels like we are living in a bad sci fi movie, Day 50 something of self isolation and social distancing. Wearing face masks and gloves in the bank. grocery stores have become the new norm. Nowadays  if I see someone not wearing a  mask, I immediately want to distance myself from them. I work with the elderly. They are a high risk for this crazy cornavirus They have been staying in their apartments for over a month now. .Scared, missing their families. Doing everything they can to stay safe They are trying to find ways to continue living a somewhat normal life. The other day while I was at work  I heard singing coming from the C wing done the hall. WOW I DIDNT SEE THAT COMING

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Saturday June 8th 2019 Hello Bloggers, Just stopping by to say hello to all of you and thought Id share an idiotic thing that I did, my I.Q. Its  dropping with every word read lol.  I recently went to the doctor with, not one but two ear infections. my doctor prescribed antibiotics eardrops, use twice daily. I thought to myself great this will take the pain in my ears away and I would be feeling as good as new before to long Right  Nope not John.                                                                I placed the ear drops on my dresser next to my eye drops(You see where this is going?
