LIFE IN JOHNS WORLD

On Saturday our town gathered together for the "Love Riverbank" program. We had over 200 volunteers that showed up to help out.. My Assistant Pastor and his Wife were asked to be in charge of the program this year. They along with our Mayor Richard Obrian and some locals put a lot of time and and effort in to planning the event.Which turned out great.We had Eight projects going on.Cleaning the Parks, some of the streets that were over grown by weeds and litter, taking food to our Fire department and cleaning the local library.It was so nice working along side other people who live in our Community and getting to know new people. Me holding our Love Riverbank Mascot  Our community started with a prayer We helped dust and organized books,(me centered) Mother and son volenteering together Cleaning up our parks  Just wanted to blog about it,  in this day and age there are still a lot of good people out there willing to come tog...

So the other day my best friend Mark and his son stop by to visit .   Luke ..... Hi John...I got to go number 3!  Me......... You mean you got to go 1 or 2?  Luke...... 3!  (running towards my bathroom)  Me............    1  is pee- pee    2 is poo-poo.  Luke. BOTH  He yells .THRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE and runs off  Me............ Can't argue with that one.....LOL This boy is so smart. He gets a kick out of when I  make up stories  and we laugh together.  He said my turn to tell a story "I have a chicken that lives in my ear and his name is Pom Pom''  We both laughed so hard I was crying. Hope this puts a smile on some ones face. It did mine. We sure need it with this  crazy world we live in.
