LIFE IN JOHNS WORLD

This morning Bobbie.My Sister Trisha and I met up with Bobbies Boss and his wife.Mrs,G. was the Grand Marshal this year) in Oakdale Ca.(Cowboy Capital of the World) Today was the " Portugues Festa" They started with the Father of Saint Marys Catholic Church Blessing the Animals. They also did dancing. Kind of like square dancing.There were a lot of Animals and it was a fun enviroment. I hadnt gone since I was Around four.So naturally I didnt know what to expect. Trisha(my Sister) said it brought back memories for her as a young girl she wore the princess dresses and participated in the activities.After the Parade, we all met at the hall.Around 400 people attended. They served food and drinks. At no charge, ribs,portague beans,salad.sweet bread,All the sodas you wanted.Everone was very nice. I couldnt help feeling a bit nostalic.My family came from the Azores.I havent seen them in years.Im going to try and find My Aunt(my real Dads Sister) And go see her. I have a lot of ques...

THOUGHT IT WOULD BE NICE TO POST AN ENTRY ABOUT OUR FAMILY DAY.WE HAD A GREAT TIME TOGETHER.MY SISTER BONNIE AND HER DAUGHTER AND S.I.L. CAME TO MY HOUSE FOR THREE DAYS.ALONG WITH THERE TO LITTLE RED HEAD DAUGHTERSLMY MOM WOULD LOVE THE RED HAIR.LOL WE WENT THRU SOME OF GRANDMA;S THINGS.BUT WE DIDNT WANT TO BE ALL DEPRESSED AND SAD. SO WE STARTED GOOFING OFF AND TAKING PICTURES. I GOT TO TO TELL YOU.I ENJOYED MYSELF.WE EVEN WENT DOWN TO JACOB MEYERS PARK AND HADA NICE BAR-B-QUE. JUST A GREAT FAMILY WEEKEND. I had a good week.On the 29th My Church opened our fire work Stand.We have been doing this 15 years now.Its our biggest fundraiser of the year. It was hot off and on. I didnt work alot this year.I've been working for Miss O Alot off hours and Im recovering from my Ulcer.So I didnt over do it.But I still went and fellowshipped with everyone.Its so nice to have a good Church group that becomes a part of your family. My nephew Larry's F.I.L made a Banner for our booth Community Praise Tabernacle .And his Brother Mike drove it down to my booth for me.That was vey nice of them.And the Owner George for donating his time and material for us.Anyways we almost sold out of everything tonight.Can you believe they had a $600 box and five guys walked up and bought it. Dear Barbara, Im sitting here at work, its July 2nd.I hear people already setting off fireworks.And it reminds me of July 3rd 2004. The morning I got the call that you had passed away.Just four short months after being dianoised with brain tumors.The cancer had spread to your brain from your breast.Even though you had it removede and went thru all that chemo and radition.I'll never forget Dr Levy(Chandra Levys father,The missing intern)He said" O.k.Ms.Green have a nice life,Your all better now.". What went wrong? I wasnt comfortable with him treating you,when the whole world was searching for his missing daughter,He was a wreck,And rightly so.The day I went into his office and you My dear sweet sister was comforting him.As he sat their crying.And you prayed for him.Right after having your treatment. You were so brave.You took the battle head on.Even made jokes when you had your breast removed.I miss you so much.You were only 54.Way to young.I miss our roadtrips to Placerv...
