LIFE IN JOHNS WORLD

                           I'm telling you I get such a kick out of  hanging out with these Seniors(Not High school) The Sweet little old gray hair ladies(ya right) So the other day I'm at "The Estates"  visiting, I stopped by to do some volunteer work.Sandra.age 89.She decided to get on her  Hover Around and go help out her Sister.So she went to.Viola age 93 to teach her how to use her breathing machine.Suddenly Sandra's door to her apartment flew  opened.There stood a little ol lade clinging to her walker.She said "THIS is my house" I said,  "I know they all look alike,I think you live down the hall".(Not wanting to offend her) She said "NO, this is my home" ....So I called Sandra.at her Sisters.She said I think I know who your talking about.Shes 105(No joke,105)But ask her to make sure its the right lady".Well I didn't want to offend her,Or wors...

                      My day started out like any other ordinary day, Had a few errands to run,Got most of my stuff done by 4 pm .Feeling like I decided to reward myself to a hot vanilla latte and then head home to nap. Just one  more stop then  I was home free.I dropped the movie off  in the slot at Blockbuster and headed to Cruisers(Chevron) by my house to run in and grab my drink.When I went to pay for it.I realized I didn't have my wallet on me."It must be in the truck"I thought to myself.I had $3 bucks in my jacket pocket, paid for my coffee and left.Got into the truck, didn't see it my wallet laying in the seat.So I looked under the truck to make sure it didn't fall out .Nope.No wallet So I headed home,Unlocked the front door and walked in.                 You know life has a funny way of turning on you in a blink of an eye.I went from having My parents around Everyone laughing and carrying on..And three Sisters who were my world.To losing them all in ten years,Gone are the fun filled holidays,With the kids running up and down the hallway,Watching them hyped up on sugar,Sometimes the house was so crowed we sat on the floor.Dad always had a pot a coffee on.And life was hectic& fast,,but good,Sometimes all we  had was a pot of beans and corn bread that  Mom would make for everyone.                                    Now its just me and my little dog Nuggett .A different house.No noise,No family gatherings and No food on the stove.(In fact I've lived here three years in Feb)And I've haven't used the stove yet.(Now its fast  food or the microwave.)I sti...

                       Lets see this is our second day of cold weather .Fall finally made its way here in California.Our first rain was on Monday. Loved it and Tuesday it rained some more. Its definitely getting colder out.On another note.....My Sister Trisha has been very sick the last four days,She says it feel like the flu.I have been very worried about her.Shes the Sister that has liver damage. Cirrhosis of the liver,So I have been praying a lot for her and stressing as well.Around 9 am this morning my friend Mark shows up at my house.In his hand is a movie Vampire Slayer Abraham Lincoln and snacks.So he puts the movie on and darkens the living room .Mind you this 930 in the morning. Something I usually don't do.So we watched the movie decide to hang out (putting all errands on hold) And I really enjoyed myself.He knew I was stressing, So he came over to take my mind off of everyth...

Its been a little while since I've blogged,So I thought Id back trap a little.The weather starting to change a little.Fall in almost here, Hard to to tell by today's weather, It was a warm 92......My friend Mark stopped by with his two kids, His wife was teaching a class at The garden nursery she works sy.Her theme was "Creating your own Fairy Garden" ,25 women showed up to make create their boxes they were very excited about the class.Amie is a great instructor.She answered every question that was asked.The Nursery also provide a live music with violinist and food, hot dog,chips,drinks(water&soda's) They had a good turn out I enjoyed my day.                                    About 2 p.m. I  dropped Mark &kids off at his house.I came home to got ready to go work.Caring for an89 year old. July has a been a busy month.On June 28th our Church opened its Firework Stand.Freedom Fireworks.This is out biggest fun raiser of the year.It takes a team to make up a successful booth.I really enjoyed the fellowship of the Church.gathered around the booth.Some nights we had 45 people.People brought food.The youth had a blast standing on the corner holding their signs.Yelling FIREWORKS....And we did great this year.Almost selling out everything.We had a raffle to give a way a bicycle.A young girl named Dana won the bike.Boy!was she excited,                                                              And more good news.My best friend Mark got a job.(In California that's hard to do)He's been looking for work over a year.He signed on with a Temp Agency. They assigned him to a warehouse to fill orders for fireworks.Just so ha...
