LIFE IN JOHNS WORLD

Well we survived the 106 week long heat wave.Several of us. Volunteered in the firework stand We raised money to help send Bibles to Africa and for our "Love Riverbank" project. Well. Its official fall is here..All though you cant tell it yet here by our California Weather.This has been a strange Summer.Today was a warm day and hasnt cooled down much.Yesterday I had to take My Sister to the doctor.She was so confused.I cant stand to see her like that.The doctor checked her and increased her lactulose.I didnt realize how much the liver affected the whole body.I sat with her til 7 p.m And she was already starting to do alot better.She was tired and wanted to rest in her recliner with her dog Spike laying next to her.So I hugged her and headed home to get ready for Church.I got there almost an hour late.But I thankful I went.My Pastor, Pastor Elias preached on " Dont Panic" God has the last word over any doctors,He looked over at me and said Dont panic Bro John,God has the last word.I felt such a relief. After Church I went home and took Nuggett for a walk, Nuggs always at the door,ready to greet me.Even that helps.I talk to her all the time.Shes my t...

I want to share with you what I seen with my own eyes. I am 42 years old.Having lived the first 21 years knowing there was a God.But not Knowing Him personally.The last 21 years I've been getting to know God.And recently thru my many trials. Health and Most of My Family passsing on.I've learned to trust him with my whole heart.My Pastor has been leading the Church on a seven day fast.Each group fasts on a certain day of the week.And a group of 47 plus people are up at 5a.m. for one hour, seven days a week. And the Church is reading the word faithfully. Pastor is focussed on Unity,and on love and extending a helping hand to person in need.And people let me tell you,We need God now more than ever.(No work,Foreclosures,Divorces,Dependancy on prescription pills to numb the pain.Its so bad that their are elderly selling their medication to supliment their income.) This morning Bobbie.My Sister Trisha and I met up with Bobbies Boss and his wife.Mrs,G. was the Grand Marshal this year) in Oakdale Ca.(Cowboy Capital of the World) Today was the " Portugues Festa" They started with the Father of Saint Marys Catholic Church Blessing the Animals. They also did dancing. Kind of like square dancing.There were a lot of Animals and it was a fun enviroment. I hadnt gone since I was Around four.So naturally I didnt know what to expect. Trisha(my Sister) said it brought back memories for her as a young girl she wore the princess dresses and participated in the activities.After the Parade, we all met at the hall.Around 400 people attended. They served food and drinks. At no charge, ribs,portague beans,salad.sweet bread,All the sodas you wanted.Everone was very nice. I couldnt help feeling a bit nostalic.My family came from the Azores.I havent seen them in years.Im going to try and find My Aunt(my real Dads Sister) And go see her. I have a lot of ques...

October 31st 2008 Wow. I can't believe it,I found my way over from J-Land. of course I lost my journal and all my pictures. from"JOHNS WORLD" I didnt know how to transfer it over, So I must start a new one. It rained today, we need it here in Northern California. I was concerned though.We had an activity planned for the kids tonight.We put it on, so the kids don't go out and trick-or-treat. Its just not safe anymore. So a group of us at my Church get together and have games, lots of candy,food, candy, Jolly Jumpers,candy. Did I mention the candy. We collected 300 hundred pounds of candy . Sorry Parents, remind them to dont forget to brush....As you read my blogs you will find out that Church is a huge part of my life.
